Terms of Service

The Deal
You use the app, we don't mess with your data. That's it.
Accounts (Web App)
The web app requires you to sign in with Google. The account exists for one reason: so your reminders are tied to you and sync across your devices.
- You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure — if someone else can sign in as you, they can see your reminders.
- One account per person. Don't share accounts if you care about keeping your reminders separate.
- You can delete your account anytime from the settings page, which removes your data from our servers.
The mobile app doesn't require an account.
What You Can Do
- Use Remind Me Later to create and manage your reminders
- Customize your notifications however you want
- Delete your data anytime — uninstall the mobile app, or delete your web account
What You Can't Do
- Try to break the app, reverse engineer it, or poke at other users' data
- Use it for anything illegal, abusive, or that violates someone else's rights
- Automate or scrape the service in ways that cause load beyond normal personal use
- Blame us if you forget to check your reminders (we tried our best!)
Disclaimers
"AS IS" Service: We provide Remind Me Later as-is. We'll do our best to keep it working smoothly, but we can't guarantee it'll be perfect 100% of the time.
No Warranty: We're not responsible if a reminder doesn't fire due to your device settings, battery optimization, browser behavior, calendar sync issues, or other technical factors outside our control.
Your Responsibility: You're responsible for backing up anything you can't afford to lose. On mobile, uninstalling the app deletes your reminders. On web, deleting your account deletes your reminders from our servers.
Liability
We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app. If you miss an important reminder, that's on you to manage your device settings, keep your account accessible, and check the app.
Changes
We can update these terms anytime. We'll update the "Last Updated" date when we do. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
You can stop using the app anytime — delete the mobile app, or delete your web account. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we can discontinue the service anytime (though we hope we won't have to). If we discontinue the web app, we'll give you a reasonable window to export your data.
