The Short Version

We only store what you create, and only so it's there when you come back. No tracking, no ads, no selling.

The Slightly Longer Version

What we collect: Only what you put into the app — your reminders, buckets, preferences, and the email associated with your sign-in.

Why we need an account (on the web app): So your reminders are tied to you and show up on whatever device you sign in from. That's it. The mobile app doesn't require an account.

What we share: Nothing. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't hand it off to anyone who isn't strictly required to run the service (see "Third parties" below).

Analytics: None. We don't track you across the web, we don't profile you, and we don't care what else you do on the internet.

Ads: None. We're not selling your attention.

Mobile App

The mobile app is local-first. No account required. Everything stays on your device:

  • Your reminders and notes
  • Your notification preferences
  • Your avatar and profile settings
  • Your buckets and organization

If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.

Web App

The web app requires you to sign in with Google so your reminders can sync across devices. Here's what that means in practice:

  • What we store in the cloud: Your reminders, buckets, preferences, and the email address from your Google account. That's it.
  • Where it's stored: On Supabase, our database provider. Each row is associated with your account ID so only you can access it.
  • What Google sees: Google handles the sign-in. We only receive your email address and a unique identifier from them — we don't see your password, and we don't ask for access to anything else in your Google account unless you explicitly opt in (e.g., calendar sync, if enabled).
  • Local copy too: Your data is also cached on your device for offline use and speed. Clearing your browser storage clears the local copy; the server copy is still there when you sign back in.

Third Parties

We keep this list as short as humanly possible:

  • Supabase — stores your reminders and handles authentication.
  • Google — handles sign-in via OAuth.
  • Cloudflare — serves the website and web app.

None of them are given permission to use your data for advertising, profiling, or anything beyond running the service.

Notifications

The mobile app sends you local notifications generated on your device. The web app uses Google Calendar events (if you've enabled calendar sync) or in-app reminders — no push-tracking servers involved.

Deleting Your Data

On the web app, you can delete your account from the settings page. That wipes your reminders, buckets, and profile data from our database. On mobile, uninstalling the app deletes everything. If you'd prefer us to handle deletion manually, email us at the address below.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page and the "Last Updated" date. The core principle won't change: your data is yours, we only store what you create, and we don't sell anything to anyone.

Contact

If you have questions about this privacy policy, you can reach us at: contact@remindmelater.space

TL;DR: On mobile, your data stays on your device. On the web, your data lives on our server tied to your account so it can sync — but we still don't track you, don't show you ads, and don't sell anything to anyone. Delete your account anytime.
